Collaborative Project
Project Objectives

Steve Whitehouse from AfriCompassion approached our team with the mission to improve the lives of children in Tanzania through better access to water, education, and infrastructure. A key component of this initiative was to create a trustworthy, impactful, and user-friendly website that could effectively communicate their goals and encourage support. As a UI Designer and collaborative team member, my role focused on enhancing the visual experience and ensuring cohesive design across all pages. Roles Team Member User Interface Designer

The Process

Our process began with a site audit, identifying areas of improvement and deciding what content could be consolidated for better flow. Each team member mapped pages, contributed UX suggestions, and shared design references. We aligned on a cohesive visual direction and built components in Figma, allowing for collaborative design and easy component reuse. I was responsible for setting up the design system, ensuring visual consistency across the entire project. As pages were developed, I consolidated layouts and ensured theme alignment across team contributions. I also collaborated with the branding team to integrate assets seamlessly.
