The project began with the visual audit of the brand book to ensure consistency in tone, color, and typography across all new materials. Then, each marketing piece was approached as an extension of the REACH OUTDOORS identity:
The key challenge was to extend a newly established brand system into diverse mediums while maintaining consistency and clarity. Each deliverable required a unique approach—icons needed to be universally readable, motion ads needed to balance subtlety with energy, and apparel mockups had to feel tangible and stylish. Avoiding overt sales language in social ads while still engaging the viewer meant leaning into pure brand storytelling through design. Another major challenge was in iconography design—creating a symbolic, minimal visual language that transcends culture, generation, and gender. Each icon had to be recognizable, purposeful, and consistent in style while communicating nuanced outdoor conditions and activities.
As part of the brand expansion for REACH OUTDOORS, I developed a comprehensive suite of marketing materials to demonstrate the scalability and versatility of the brand across various platforms and formats. The deliverables included static and animated social media ads, three sets of custom iconography, wearable brand applications such as patches and tags, and a full branded t-shirt design with compelling apparel mockups. These assets are designed to work cohesively, reinforcing the REACH OUTDOORS brand identity while resonating with the target demographic of outdoor enthusiasts aged 18–40. Every design decision—from layout to motion, from fabric applications to icon shape—was guided by the brand’s values of inclusivity, adventure, and connection to nature.

Outcome This marketing materials project helped establish REACH OUTDOORS as a fully realized brand capable of transcending platforms and audiences. Each element, from the social ad to the clothing patch, builds a unified narrative—an invitation to explore, move, and live boldly. The project is now a cornerstone of my personal portfolio, showcasing my range in branding, motion, UX aesthetics, and product mockup design.
